As you can see, I reached my 50 Firsts before my 51st Birthday. I had this list finished in early November. I had hoped to have completed my first novel as a solo writer, but alas, that requires a lot more time allotted than I currently have. However, it is still an ongoing process and its actually one of my 2018 Goals for the year.
As I mentioned in my last list update, I had wondered what I would do once this challenge was over. I have decided to embark on a Goal journey that will continue over the next 2.75 years. It began yesterday, December 13, 2017, on which I turned 51 years old. I will be almost 54 years old when my 101 goals are completed and the 1001 days end, but I can tell you, I will be all the better for it, no matter what, simply because it will be a grand adventure that I am truly excited about.
Last night, over my birthday dinner, I read Greg my list of 101 Goals. He was brilliant in pointing out where I had duplication, and also wonderful at reigning me in a little bit…(spoiler alert: I might have gotten a little carried away with the amount of travel my goals entailed). Thus, I have a MUCH more realistic list of doable goals to entertain me for the next 1001 days. I have left myself some leeway to add some additional goals should a couple of my travel goals not come to fruition, but in general, I think everything is pretty doable with a LOT of planning and successful allocation of resources lol.
The items I had to remove were actually placed on my “Someday” bucket list, so they were not completely lost and I look forward to the day I can mark them ALL as done. As I was counting down to my birthday, my list of 101 Goals was lacking, so when my friend Tim asked me what “101 Goals in 1001 Days” was all about, I did a google search of it and was excited to find an entire website dedicated to goals, lists and adventure. Thus, my 101 Goals was much easier to determine once I had this website.
So below, is the list of 101 Goals. It’s not in any particular order, nor did I want it that way, and again, some things could be taken off if sequence of events do not fall into place, but they WILL be replaced with alternative goals, so that when my 1001 days ends on 09-09-2020 I will have completed all 101 Goals, hopefully.

As you can see, I have my work cut out for me, but also, the thought of completing all of this in 2.75 years makes me so very excited!!! I am a goals-driven personality type and this sort of list makes me so fucking happy. I even have them all written in a Lechtturm1917 Master Slim Hardcover notebook, with an index, date complete, and all 101 have their own page where I will blog about my success, planning, etc. All my analog nerds understand what I just wrote, otherwise, feel free to ignore the blathering of a notebook addict =)
So, there you have it, my 50th Birthday Year Wrap up and the beginning of the next 1001 days of my life! I have my 2018 Life Goals set, and pretty much things are on track, so I am feeling pretty damn good. Now it could all go to hell in a moment, but for right this minute, the chaos that is my life, feels in line & for all intents and purposes, my life is pretty fucking glorious.
I hope you all have a great week and I will be getting back into my blogging more actively now that things are getting sort of settled again.
Now…back to the regularly scheduled #Amypalooza2018 festivities.
Star Wars here we come…
